In January 2003, my husband and I spent a short evening in Bacharach at Burg Stahleck. We shared a bottle of delicious red wine there. After our return home, we wished that we could remember the name of that delicious wine! We eventually contacted the staff at Burg Stahleck and learned that this great bottle had been a 1999 Spatburgunder Rotwin Halbtrocken. Thank You for the fond memory of Bacharach!
